The Role

We are seeking a Video Editor to create compelling and emotionally powerful videos that tell refugee stories, drive donor engagement, and amplify our advocacy efforts. Your work will help bring real experiences to life, inspiring action and raising awareness.

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, website, fundraising campaigns, and advocacy efforts.

• Craft narrative-driven videos that highlight refugee stories, emergency response efforts, and donor impact.

• Enhance raw footage by cutting, sequencing, and adding transitions, effects, and subtitles.

• Ensure videos align with the NGO’s brand identity, tone, and messaging.

• Format videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook, ensuring platform-specific requirements.

• Provide guidance on video best practices for field volunteers and team members capturing content.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in video editing.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

• High-level communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal team members.

• Experience editing videos for fundraising campaigns, impact storytelling, and digital advocacy (preferable but not required).

• Fluency in Arabic or French (in addition to English) (preferable but not required).

• Proficiency in using Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

• Strong organisational skills, a compassionate nature, and a desire to make a difference.
