Our Mission

Relief Across Borders ensures that no child displaced by conflict is forgotten.

We provide urgent aid to families who have fled war zones, wherever they are. Through direct support, advocacy, and sustainable programmes, we bridge critical gaps in the humanitarian system, safeguarding the dignity, well-being, and future of displaced children as they await the day they can safely return home.

Relief Across Border’s vision is a world where no displaced child is forgotten, where families receive the support they need to rebuild their lives, and where every child has the opportunity to safely return home.

Sustainable Humanitarian Aid

We provide comprehensive support to refugee families, addressing both immediate and ongoing challenges. Emergency aid is crucial, but we remain committed to providing sustainable humanitarian aid that helps displaced families build stability for the future.

Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and direct aid, we strive to create solutions that are not just reactive but transformative, sustainable, and centred on the well-being of displaced families.

Psychological Support

Our psychological support programs are designed to provide children with the trauma-informed care they need to heal, helping them process their experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.

We also recognise the impact of displacement on caregivers, we also provide them with resources and mental health support, equipping them with the tools to navigate their own trauma. Our holistic approach fosters resilience and stability within families, empowering them to rebuild their lives and work toward a brighter future.

Educational Programmes

We work to place children in suitable school environments or connect them with private tutoring, ensuring they receive adequate education despite their displacement and giving them the tools they need to thrive.

Beyond direct support, we advocate for policies that protect their right to education, pushing for systemic changes that make quality learning accessible to all displaced children.

Medical Aid

We work to connect families with life-saving and essential healthcare services, ensuring no child is denied care due to their circumstances. Access to medical care should not be a privilege, yet too many displaced children are left without the treatment they urgently need.

By mobilising resources and advocating for equitable healthcare, we strive to remove barriers to treatment, support long-term recovery, and push for systemic change that guarantees every child’s right to medical care, no matter where they are.

Medical Evacuations

In collaboration with partner organisations, our medical evacuation programme strives to identify critically ill and injured children in need of urgent care, facilitating their evacuation from conflict zones.

We work closely with relevant authorities to secure the necessary identity documents and permits. and establish streamlined pathways with various jurisdictions to ensure prompt and efficient access to life-saving care.

Advocacy

We are committed to amplifying the voices of injured, maimed, and traumatised children who have been forced to seek refuge beyond their homeland.

Through strategic international advocacy, we work to raise regional and global awareness of the urgent need to safeguard vulnerable displaced children and push for stronger state involvement in upholding their fundamental rights. Our efforts also center on the right of return and family reunification, ensuring that displacement does not become a permanent barrier to a child's future, identity, and dignity.

"Displacement should never mean abandonment. Yet, too often, children who flee war find themselves in a humanitarian limbo, forgotten once the urgency of conflict fades from the headlines. Caught in the gaps of a system that prioritises crisis over continuity, they are left without the medical care, shelter, and stability they need to rebuild their lives. The loss of their homes should not mean the loss of their future. It is our responsibility to ensure that support does not stop at the moment of escape but continues until every child has the opportunity to heal, grow, and one day return home."
