Gaza Emergency Response
The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels, with families enduring unimaginable hardship due to ongoing violence, displacement, and restricted access to basic necessities. Healthcare systems are on the brink of collapse, food and water shortages are worsening, and thousands of children are left vulnerable. Immediate intervention is critical.
At Relief Across Borders, we are committed to delivering urgent aid to those in desperate need. Our Gaza Emergency Response Programme provides life-saving medical support, essential supplies, and direct financial assistance to displaced families, both inside the Gaza Strip and those who have evacuated. By working closely with our team on the ground, we ensure that aid reaches those who need it most quickly, effectively, and with dignity.
At Relief Across Borders, we understand that survival isn’t just about food and shelter—it's about healing. One of the simplest yet most powerful tools for a child’s recovery is play.
We have mobilised to provide essential support to Youssef and his family, coordinating psychological support through play therapy to help Youssef cope with the trauma he has endured. This therapy will also allow him to develop healthy coping mechanisms, enabling him to integrate into a schooling system in the months ahead.
In addition, we support Youssef with basic humanitarian and medical needs, including, but not limited to, dental work, food aid, and clothing.
Play Therapy for Youssef in Jordan: A Case Study
“The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza demands urgent and unwavering action. Families are being displaced, children are going without food and medical care, and entire communities are struggling to survive. At Relief Across Borders, we refuse to stand by while people suffer. Our Gaza Emergency Response Programme is a lifeline, providing direct aid, medical support, and essential resources to those in desperate need.
In times of crisis, solidarity and action speak louder than words. We will continue to stand with the people of Gaza, ensuring that help reaches them where and when it matters most.”
