Vacancy: Medics for Deployment

Location:                On Standby for Deployment to Medical Clinics (Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Syria.)

The Role

We are building a roster of qualified medics who can be rapidly deployed to our medical clinics when needed. If you are a doctor, nurse, paramedic, or other medical professional looking to use your skills in a humanitarian setting, we encourage you to apply.

  • Provide urgent and primary healthcare services to refugee patients, including children, pregnant women, and the elderly.

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions in a low-resource environment.

  • Administer emergency first aid, trauma care, and life-saving interventions when required.

  • Work closely with local healthcare providers, NGOs, and humanitarian organisations to ensure a coordinated response.

  • Educate patients and families on preventative healthcare, hygiene, and disease management.

  • Support maternal and child health initiatives, including vaccination campaigns and prenatal care.

  • Train local healthcare workers and volunteers in basic medical procedures when applicable.

  • Provide post-deployment reports summarizing medical interventions and identifying ongoing healthcare needs.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical, professional, and legal medical standards in all interventions.

  • Adapt quickly to changing environments, security situations, and logistical challenges.

Requirements

  • Licensed Doctor, Nurse, Paramedic, or other certified healthcare professional.

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, primary care, or trauma care.

  • Experience working in low-resource, conflict, or humanitarian settings (preferable but not required.)

  • Be available for deployment with all vaccines and paperwork up-to-date.

  • Proficiency in Arabic and/or English (French is a plus).
