Vacancy: Marketing Manager

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives that amplify our impact, increase donor engagement, and drive awareness of refugee issues.

  • Develop and execute a multi-channel marketing strategy that aligns with the NGO’s mission and fundraising goals.

  • Oversee the creation of compelling social media content, newsletters, blogs, and videos that highlight refugee stories and donor impact.

  • Manage the organization’s website and social media channels, ensuring regular updates and engagement.

  • Track and analyse marketing performance metrics to optimise impact and engagement.

  • Strengthen and maintain the NGO’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications.

  • Collaborate with wider teams to capture authentic stories and visuals from the refugee communities that we serve.

  • Work closely with the fundraising manager and graphic designer to create donor engagement materials, reports, and impact stories.

  • Help to build relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to raise awareness of refugee issues.

  • Assist in developing press releases, media kits, and thought leadership articles to position the NGO as a leading voice in refugee advocacy.

  • Foster a strong online community of supporters and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, International Development, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the nonprofit, humanitarian, or advocacy sector.

  • Experience managing social media platforms, email marketing, and website content.

  • Ability to craft data-driven marketing campaigns and analyse performance metrics.

  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and Adobe (preferable).

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

  • Strong organisational skills, a compassionate nature, and a desire to make a difference.
