
Vacancy: Evacuation Support Manager

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Evacuation Support Officer, providing essential follow-up support to families who have been medically evacuated from conflict zones. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in social work, healthcare, law, child welfare, humanitarian aid, or case management, who are passionate about supporting vulnerable families.
Conduct regular check-ins with evacuated families to ensure they receive appropriate support.
Identify and escalate any concerns, such as medical, legal, or social issues.
Provide reassurance and guidance to Case Workers as families adjust to their new circumstances.
Ensure families understand available support services and how to access them.
Flag urgent concerns, such as missing documentation or medical needs, within the appropriate channels.
Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality protocols, ensuring that sensitive information is handled responsibly.
Generate reports summarising evacuation trends, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
Experience in social work, healthcare, law, child welfare, humanitarian aid, case management, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic support.
Ability to work independently while ensuring seamless coordination with the wider team.
High attention to detail, particularly in record-keeping and documentation.
Proficiency in Google Suite and database management systems.
Strong organisational skills, a compassionate nature, and a desire to make a difference.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in social work, healthcare, law, child welfare, international relations humanitarian aid or a related field.
